What are the uses of fire retardant varnishes?

Fire-retardant wood varnishes from the Uniepal-Drew line are applied to raw wood, plywood, and OSB boards. They can be used to protect products made from domestic wood species.
Wood protected with fire-retardant varnishes
provide wood products with an appropriate fire classification, which is a combination of the following designations:

Fire Behavior
Smoke Emission "s"
Burning Droplets "d"

A1, A2 - non-flammable
s1 - almost no smoke
d0 - no burning drops

B, C - non-flammable, difficult to ignite
s2 - medium smoke emission
d1 - few burning drops

D, E - normal flammability
s3 - intense smoke emission
d2 - many burning drops
