Feg-C epoxy primer is an epoxy anti-corrosion paint for high-build protection of steel structures, including galvanized ones. It can be applied in layers up to 250 µm thick. Feg-C can be used alone (indoors) or in combination with polyvinyl, acrylic-polyvinyl, polyurethane, or epoxy topcoats. Feg-C is PZH certified , making it suitable for professional anti-corrosion protection of steel structures, including galvanized ones, in industry (excluding interior surfaces in the food and pharmaceutical industries) and in indoor construction.
The substrate to be painted should be degreased (e.g. using Emulsol RN-1 ), clean, and dry. Raw substrate – unpainted – surface preparation grade: at least Sa 2 1/2, according to PN-ISO 8501-1:1996 (removed mill scale, rust, and foreign contaminants). Renovation painting – thoroughly wash the coating with water under pressure, preferably using surfactants. Surface preparation grade: at least PSa 2 1/2, permissible PSt 2 – according to PN-ISO 8501-2:1998 (strongly adhering paint coating not removed, removed mill scale, rust, poorly adhering paint coatings, and foreign contaminants). Paint the cleaned substrate within 6 hours to prevent flash rust. Top-Kor rust remover for 12 hours before painting. Feg-C is a two-component paint (the price is for a complete set, i.e., a base coat and a hardener).
