EPIFIL H-50 epoxy putty

Epifil H-50 epoxy filler is a two-component, water-soluble product. Ready to use after mixing the ingredients. Designed for leveling surfaces and filling gaps in plaster, concrete, and stone. It spreads easily, creating a smooth, hard layer.

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty - properties:

• very good adhesion to smooth and load-bearing surfaces
• high resistance to mechanical damage
• high resistance to chemical factors

It offers a wide range of topcoat options. It is not generally a standalone coating, so surfaces coated with a layer of filler should be painted with an appropriate topcoat before being put into service. It contains epoxy resin, natural mineral fillers, and additives.

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty - surface preparation

The surface to be filled should be thoroughly cleaned, loose particles removed, degreased (e.g., with Sulfanol-A ), and vacuumed. For increased durability, abrasive blasting (sandblasting) is recommended. Fresh concrete surfaces should be filled only after 4 weeks of seasoning. Remove any rust from steel surfaces and thoroughly degrease.

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty - application

Before use, add the second component (hardener) and mix the contents of the package thoroughly. After 5 minutes, the mass is ready to use. It should be used within 1 hour. Avoid creating air bubbles while mixing. Apply the mass to the prepared surface with a spatula or mason's trowel, pressing it into the substrate. Carefully smooth the surface during application. After curing, sanding with sandpaper is difficult due to the hardness of the mass. Primers and paints can be applied to a thoroughly dried and dust-free layer. Do not use after the expiration date after mixing with the hardener has passed. This mass, even with the addition of water, is unsuitable for use, as it does not achieve the proper hardness after drying.

• washing the equipment: from the mass (until it hardens) - water, from the hardener - thinner for nitro or epoxy products,
