EPIFIL H-50 epoxy putty

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty is a two-component, water-soluble product. Ready to use after combining the ingredients. Intended for leveling surfaces and filling gaps: plaster, concrete, stone. It can be easily spread, creating a smooth, hard layer.

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty - properties:

• very good adhesion to smooth and load-bearing surfaces
• high resistance to mechanical damage
• high resistance to chemical agents

It provides wide possibilities in choosing a topcoat. Basically, it is not an independent coating, therefore surfaces covered with a layer of putty should be painted with an appropriate topcoat before being put into operation. Contains epoxy resin, natural mineral fillers and refining agents.

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty - surface preparation

The surface to be putty should be thoroughly cleaned, loose elements removed, degreased (e.g. with Sulfanol-A ) and vacuumed. In order to obtain higher durability, abrasive blasting (sandblasting) of the surface is recommended. Fresh concrete substrates can be putty only after 4 weeks of seasoning. Remove traces of rust from the steel surface and degrease thoroughly.

Epifil H-50 epoxy putty - application

Before use, add the second ingredient (hardener) and mix the contents of the package thoroughly. After 5 minutes, the mass is ready for work. It should be used within 1 hour. Avoid creating air bubbles while mixing. Apply the mass onto the prepared surface with a putty knife or a mason's trowel, pressing it into the substrate. The surface should be carefully leveled during application. After hardening, sanding with sandpaper is difficult due to the hardness of the mass. Primers and paints can be applied to the thoroughly dried and dust-free layer. Do not use after the shelf life after mixing with the hardener has exceeded. Even after adding water, such a mass is not suitable for use because it does not achieve the proper hardness after drying.

• consumption: approx. 1.9 kg/m2 with a layer thickness of 1 mm,
• number of layers: depending on need,
• thickness of one layer: up to 5 mm,
• maximum aggregate size: up to 0.3 mm,
• washing equipment: from the mass (until hardening) - water, from the hardener - diluent for nitro or epoxy products,
• density: approx. 1.9 g/cm3,
• warranty: 12 months from the production date in original, undamaged packaging,
• packaging: 3 kg (A+B), 15 kg (A+B).
