Thanks to its physical and chemical properties, it allows you to obtain durable and aesthetic finishes that are necessary in every construction project.
Quartz sand for resin
Quartz sand is often used as an additive to epoxy resins to increase their strength and hardness. Sand also provides excellent adhesion and mechanical resistance to abrasion. This special type of sand is well suited to working with resins because it is free from impurities. The addition of quartz sand in the resin screed gives the floor anti-slip properties and also serves as a filler, which has a positive effect on lower material consumption. An additional advantage of using quartz sand for resin screed is that it masks any unevenness of the substrate.
Dried quartz sand sold in 25kg or 2.5kg bags. The sand is dried at a temperature of 1600°C, so it is not damp and can be used with various resins as an anti-slip additive or filler for epoxy screeds.
