SIL-GRUNT deep-penetrating primer

Sil-Grunt Deep Penetrating Primer is a water-soluble preparation designed for priming building surfaces both indoors and outdoors. Applied correctly, it increases adhesion, strengthens load-bearing capacity, and unifies the substrate's absorbency and cohesion, while maintaining its breathability. It prevents discoloration and stains from penetrating, and reduces topcoat paint consumption.

Sil-Grunt deep-penetrating primer - recommended applications:

It is recommended for use under high-quality latex and silicone paints, standard emulsion and acrylic paints, heavy vinyl and fiberglass wallpapers, waterproofing compounds, acrylic plasters, ceramic wall and floor tiles, and for priming substrates before pouring cement-based self-leveling floors. It can be used on a variety of building materials, including plaster, concrete, brick, gypsum, wood and wood-based materials, and drywall. It is required for applications such as Acrylic-Silicone Paint for Concrete , Acrylic-Silicone Paint for Roofs Mat latex paint .

Deep-penetrating acrylic primer - advantages:

When applied correctly, it increases paint adhesion, unifies the absorbency and cohesion of the substrate, and does not interfere with the "breathing" process of walls. It does not impede the maturation process of fresh plasters, and prevents stains and discoloration on colored coatings. These properties result from the use of a finely divided polymer with extremely small particle size (so-called hydrosol), which is many times smaller than those used in typical acrylic primers. This ensures deep penetration into porous substrates. The product is PZH (National Institute of Hygiene) certified , allowing it to be used for priming plasters and concrete surfaces outdoors and indoors in residential, public, healthcare, warehouse, and production spaces, including the food industry (without direct contact with food).

Deep-penetrating acrylic primer - surface preparation and application:

For new plasters, no special preparation of the substrate is necessary. The surface to be restored should be thoroughly dusted, cleaned, loose paint flakes removed, and degreased. Lime paints and adhesives should be completely removed. Eliminate algae and mold with chemical products, such as GrzyboStop . Matte smooth surfaces with sandpaper. Fill cracks with acrylic putty, such as Biel-Putz . Larger defects: indoors with gypsum, outdoors and under mineral paints with cement mortar. Cover protruding steel elements that cannot be removed with anti-corrosion paint. Mix the contents of the package thoroughly. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate, Sil-Grunt can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:4 (i.e., 1 part product to 4 parts water). Fresh cement-lime plaster should be painted no sooner than 3-4 weeks after application. Avoid over-application. Do not allow shiny spots or streaks to form on the surfaces.
