SIL-GRUNT deep-penetrating primer

Sil-Grunt deep-penetrating primer is a water-soluble preparation intended for priming building surfaces indoors and outdoors. When used correctly, it increases adhesion, strengthens the load-bearing capacity, harmonizes the absorbency and cohesion of the substrate, while not hindering the so-called "breathing". Prevents the penetration of discolorations and stains. Reduces the consumption of topcoats.

Sil-Grunt deep-penetrating primer - recommended applications:

It is recommended for use under high-quality latex and silicone paints, ordinary emulsion and acrylic paints, heavy vinyl and fiberglass wallpapers, waterproofing compounds, acrylic plasters, ceramic wall and floor tiles and for priming the substrate before pouring cement-based self-leveling floors. It can be used on various building materials, such as plaster, concrete, bricks, plaster, wood and wood-based materials, and plasterboards. Deep-penetrating acrylic primer - advantages:

When used correctly, it increases the adhesion of the paint, harmonizes the absorbency and cohesion of the substrate, and at the same time does not disturb the so-called "wall breathing". In the case of fresh plasters, it does not hinder the ripening process, and prevents stains and discoloration on colored coatings. The above features are the result of the use of a crushed polymer with an extremely small particle size (so-called hydrosol), which is many times smaller than those used in typical acrylic primers. This ensures deep penetration into the porous substrate. The product is certified by the National Institute of Hygiene , according to which it can be used for priming plasters and concrete surfaces outside and inside residential, public, health care, warehouse and production rooms, including the food industry (without direct contact with food).

Deep-penetrating acrylic primer - surface preparation and application:

In the case of new plasters, no special preparation of the substrate is necessary. The surface to be renovated should be thoroughly dusted, cleaned, removed with loose paint flakes and degreased. Completely remove lime and glue paints. Remove algae and mold with chemical preparations, e.g. GrzyboStop . Matte smooth surfaces with sandpaper. Fill cracks with an acrylic putty, e.g. Biel-Putz , larger defects: inside - with plaster, outside and under mineral paints - with cement mortar. Cover protruding steel elements that cannot be removed with anti-corrosion paint. Mix the contents of the package thoroughly. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate, Sil-Grunt can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:4 (i.e. 1 part of the preparation and 4 parts of water). Paint fresh cement-lime plaster no earlier than 3-4 weeks after application. Avoid excess. Do not allow any gloss or streaks to appear on the surfaces.
