ACRYLIC VARNISH for stone

Acrylic stone varnish is a colorless, water-soluble product. Pure acrylic varnish for decorative and protective covering of natural stone (e.g. sandstone) and artificial stone surfaces. It is intended for painting various products made of natural rock materials, as well as those made of cement and various types of mineral aggregates. It can also be used to maintain mosaic plaster.

After drying, the coatings are characterized by gloss, transparency, hardness, but also flexibility, resistance to abrasion, cracking and water. Depending on the degree of dilution, a glossy or matte surface can be obtained.

Due to its decorative and protective values, it is recommended for both indoor and outdoor use. On natural stone, it reveals another advantage of emphasizing the pattern of the rock, its color and structure.

It is based on high-quality, yellowing-resistant pure acrylic resin. It does not contain harmful solvents or heavy metals.

Acrylic varnish for stone - surface preparation and application

The varnish does not require dilution and is suitable for commercial use. However, if you need to obtain a matte surface, you can add drinking water quality water. Do not add water from natural reservoirs, e.g. lakes, rivers, ponds.

Proper and careful preparation of the stone before painting is the basic condition for obtaining appropriate quality coatings. The surface should be dry, dust-free and clean. Remove algae and lichen and degrease thoroughly. Apply the coating evenly in a thin layer, avoiding excess. Do not allow streaks to form. To obtain a thicker layer (with higher gloss), varnish several times. Before putting the room into operation, ventilate until the smell disappears. The varnish should not be used on floors. KLB System Polyurethan PU 805 E or can be used indoors . Neodur Varnish can also be used outdoors.

Impregnation: The varnish can also be used to impregnate stone. To do this, dilute the varnish by slowly adding water in a ratio of 1:4 (1 part varnish and 4 parts water) and mix thoroughly. Apply 1-2 layers (as needed).
