Application of Troken Floor PUR WB-C

Troken Floor PUR WB-C was designed to be used almost everywhere, especially in spaces:

• Industrial: production halls, warehouses;
• Medical and laboratory: hospitals, laboratories, clinics.

The system can be used on both porous and non-porous substrates, making it a universal choice for a variety of surfaces. For porous substrates, the use of a primer is recommended.

App:

• Substrate requirements: The substrate must be stable and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm²), with a minimum peel strength of 1.5 N/mm². The surface should be clean, dry and free from all contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, previous coatings and surface treatments, which significantly reduce the adhesion of the resin coating.
• Substrate Preparation: Troken Floor PUR WB-C is a dedicated topcoat for the flexible, resin-based polyurethane coating Troken Floor PUR SL 60. The product should be applied within the appropriate application time, depending on the application conditions described in the product data sheet. After this time, lightly sanding the surface is recommended to improve adhesion.
• Material preparation: While mixing component A, add component B and mix continuously for 2 minutes until a uniform mixture is achieved. It is necessary to allow the mixture to pre-react for 10 minutes. To ensure thorough mixing and prevent unmixed material from accumulating on the sides and/or bottom, it is recommended to strain the material into a clean, second container and mix again briefly.
• Application: Troken Floor PUR WB-C water-based polyurethane resin is applied using a velour roller or equivalent, short-nap roller. It is recommended to apply two coats of the product, each at a rate of 150-175 g/m². Applying less than 150 g/m² may result in roller marks on the resin surface.
