Trken Floor Protect 3in1

Trken Floor Protect 3in1 is an innovative solution based on selected water -soluble epoxy resins. Thanks to a specially developed recipe, the product can perform 3 functions:
- epoxy soil for concrete floors,
- leveling mass after adding quartz flour (up to 2mm thick),
- as well as as a top surface.

Trken Floor Protect 3in1 - Properties:

High resistance: After full hardening, the product is characterized by a uniform, smooth epoxy coating, which is resistant to abrasion. In addition, the surface formed by Trken Floor Protect 3in1 is resistant to oils, lubricants, fuels or salt, which is why it can be successfully used in places of use such as garages, parking lots or various industrial halls.

The versatility of use: the product can be used on various types of substrates such as concrete, cement screed, cement plaster, fiber-cement and in some cases to magnesite floors. In addition, the already mentioned 3in1 feature gives the possibility of using the product depending on the current needs. From priming the floor, through epoxy resin mortar and creating a load -bearing layer up to 2 mm, to the top layer. This translates into additional saving, because all the necessary work is done using one material.

Environmentally friendly: Trken Floor Protect 3in1 is a product that is soluble in water and does not release an unpleasant smell due to the low content of volatile organic compounds (LZO). Thanks to this, it can be used in places of permanent stay and work of people, i.e. in public places, apartments or even in staircases. After hardening, the product does not emit any harmful compounds for human and animal health, which increases the safety of its use.

Ease of application: The product can be easily diluted with water, and after application it hardens quickly, which reduces the time needed to commission the surface for use. This is a feature that rarely occurs in the case of water products based on epoxy resin. The combination of fast curing with high mechanical and chemical resistance means that Trken Floor Protect 3in1 meets the most important classification parameters as a product designed for resinous industrial floors.

Innovative structure: Trken Floor Protect 3in1 stands out from the standard water products with a lack of water content in its composition. Water is added only at the application stage, after connecting the base to the hardener. Thanks to this solution, the product is more compact, which greatly facilitates transport by the possibility of using smaller packaging. This directly translates into the optimization of logistics costs and increasing operational efficiency.

Trken Floor Protect 3in1 - use method:

1. As epoxy soil for concrete floors.

The surface before applying the soil should be clean, free from all kinds of dirt such as oil spots or other chemicals. When the concrete floor is properly prepared, mix in the recommended weight ratio A component A - base and component B - hardener. After mixing two ingredients with you, water should also be added, also in the right weight ratio. Theoretical consumption of Trken Floor Protect 3in1 as a soil is 250 - 350 g/m² in one layer.

2. Epoxy equalizing mass/repair mass

for previously primed floor, using the TROLON FLOOR PROTECT 3W1 epoxy soil or other, e.g. Neopox Primer WS or Neopox Primer AY , a mass in the amount of 2.5-3 kg/m² and 1- thickness is applied 2 mm. For this purpose, quartz flour is added to a mixture consisting of two components of the product and water as a filler. The epoxy mass prepared in this way will work both in building the thickness of the floor and supplementing all defects. It can be applied using carcinoma or packers with teeth of target thickness.

3. Epoxy topcoat

when the Troken Floor Protect 3in1 is used as a surface layer, the previously prepared product is applied with a roller in one layer with a consumption of 200-250 g/m². In order to create a non-slip variant, 10% of the weight of fine quartz sand with a grain of 0.1-0.3 mm can be added. Before applying, mix the mixture with sand very thoroughly, because it falls and settles at the bottom.
