Trken Floor Protect 3in1

Troken Floor PROTECT 3-in-1 is an innovative solution based on selected water-soluble epoxy resins. Thanks to its specially developed formula, the product can perform three functions:
- as an epoxy primer for concrete floors,
- as a leveling compound after adding quartz flour (up to 2mm thick),
- and also as a topcoat.

Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 – Features:

High resistance: Once fully cured, the product is characterized by a uniform, smooth epoxy coating that is abrasion-resistant. Furthermore, the surface created by Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 is resistant to oils, grease, fuels, and salt, making it suitable for use in areas such as garages, parking lots, and various industrial halls.

Versatile use: The product can be applied to various substrates, such as concrete, cement screed, cement plaster, fiber cement, and in some cases, magnesite floors. Furthermore, the aforementioned 3in1 feature allows for the product to be used depending on the current needs. From priming the floor, through epoxy resin mortar and creating a carrier layer of up to 2 mm, all the way to the topcoat. This translates into additional savings, as all the necessary work is performed using a single material.

Environmentally friendly: Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 is a water-soluble product that is odorless thanks to its low volatile organic compound (VOC) content. This makes it suitable for use in areas where people constantly reside and work, such as public spaces, apartments, and even stairwells. Once cured, the product does not emit any harmful compounds to human or animal health, which increases its safety.

Ease of application: The product can be easily diluted with water and cures quickly after application, reducing the time needed to put the surface into service. This feature is rarely found in water-based epoxy resin products. The combination of rapid curing with high mechanical and chemical resistance ensures that Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 meets the most important criteria for classification as a product intended for resin industrial floors.

Water is added only during application, after the base and hardener have been combined. This solution makes the product more compact, significantly facilitating transport by allowing for the use of smaller packaging. Troken Floor Protect 3in1 – how to use:

1. As an epoxy primer for concrete floors.

Before applying the primer, the surface should be clean and free of any contamination, such as oil stains or other chemical residues. Once the concrete floor is properly prepared, mix component A (base) and component B (hardener) in the recommended weight ratio. After pre-mixing the two components, add water, also in the appropriate weight ratio. Theoretical consumption of Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 as a primer is 250-350 g/m² in one layer.

2. Epoxy leveling compound/repair compound:

Apply 2.5-3 kg/m² of the compound to a thickness of 1-2 mm

on a previously primed floor using Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 epoxy primer or another primer, such as Neopox Primer WS or Neopox Primer AY To achieve this, quartz flour is added as a filler to a mixture of the two product components and water. This epoxy mass is effective both in building the floor's thickness and filling any gaps. It can be applied using a squeegee or a notched trowel to the desired thickness. 3. Epoxy Topcoat:

When using Troken Floor PROTECT 3in1 as a topcoat, the previously prepared product is applied with a roller in a single layer at a consumption of 200-250 g/m². To create a non-slip option, 10% by weight of fine quartz sand with a grain size of 0.1-0.3 mm can be added. Thoroughly mix the mixture with the sand before application, as it tends to settle and settle.
