TIXOKOR-G3 zinc-rich paint

Tixokor-G3 is a polyvinyl product with a high zinc content. The paint coating contains over 85% zinc dust by weight. It is used for professional anti-corrosion protection of steel and cast iron objects: machines, equipment, steel structures in general and industrial construction, power and bridge structures, poles, streetlights, barriers, fences, storage tanks, etc. Tixokor-G3 is a thixotropic paint ; it does not drip from vertical surfaces with a wet film thickness of up to 180 µm. It creates a covering, smooth coating with good adhesion to the substrate. The paint coating can be used at temperatures from -20 to +60°C, periodically up to +80°C.

Tixokor-G3 is used for:

• priming the substrate (as the first layer),
• filling in the gaps in the zinc coating in order to restore the continuity of the steel's cathodic protection.

It can be used in industrial, coastal, urban, and rural environments, in dry and humid atmospheres, and in atmospheres with a corrosivity category of C2–C5M. Before painting, the substrate should be degreased, dust-free, and dry. For cleaning, we recommend using an aqueous solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
