NEOPOX ALIMENTARY coating for contact with food

The coating is certified for direct contact with food , intended for use in food producing and processing plants. In one layer of Neopox Alimentary we achieve a dry thickness of up to 250 microns, thanks to which the floor has excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. It withstands forklift traffic and is resistant to acids, oils, alkalis, petroleum derivatives, fats, fruit juices, chemicals and typical cleaning agents used in production plants. Neopox Alimentary food contact coating is based on selected, solvent-free resins and hardeners and has excellent resistance to friction and yellowing.

Neopox Alimentary food contact coating - properties:

• Thick-coat epoxy resin - 250 microns thick in one layer
• A very thick coating gives us excellent resistance to mechanical and chemical loads
• The paint is based on solvent-free resins and does not emit any unpleasant odor during application
• Certified for direct contact with food

Neopox Alimentary food contact coating - substrate preparation:

• Concrete and other mineral substrates: prime with Epoxol Primer SF
• Fresh concrete (minimum 2 weeks) or damp: use Neopox Primer WS
• Glossy polished concrete, tiles - RO3333

Neopox Alimentary food contact coating - other applications:

• Floors in industrial halls, exhibition halls, workshops, etc.

App:

After the primer dries, apply Neopox Alimentary with a putty knife, roller, brush or squeegee. Combine components A and B in the appropriate proportion, then mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer, making sure that the product is also mixed at the walls and at the bottom. Mix for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Comments:

• Contact with food after 7 days after application
• Cavities in the substrate should be filled with Epoxol Putty
• Finishing works (expansion joints, wall/floor joints) can be filled with Neotex PU Joint
• Low temperature and high air humidity during application extend the drying time

Neopox Alimentary is a two-component paint (the price is for the set, i.e. the base with the hardener). To make it easier to combine the ingredients, we recommend a cup for mixing paints and varnishes (also useful for dividing the paint into smaller portions).
