NEOPOX ALIMENTARY coating for contact with food

This coating is certified for direct food contact , intended for use in food production and processing facilities. A single layer of Neopox Alimentary achieves a dry film thickness of up to 250 microns, providing the floor with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. It withstands forklift traffic and is resistant to acids, oils, alkalis, petroleum derivatives, fats, fruit juices, chemicals, and typical cleaning agents used in production facilities. The Neopox Alimentary food contact coating is based on selected, solvent-free resins and hardeners and exhibits excellent resistance to abrasion and yellowing.

Neopox Alimentary food contact coating - properties:

• High-build epoxy resin - in one layer we achieve a thickness of 250 microns
• A very thick coating provides excellent resistance to mechanical and chemical loads
• The paint is based on solvent-free resins and does not emit any unpleasant odors during application

Neopox Alimentary food contact coating - substrate preparation:

• Concrete and other mineral substrates: prime with Epoxol Primer SF
• Fresh (minimum 2 weeks) or damp concrete: use Neopox Primer WS
• Glossy polished concrete, tiles - RO3333

Neopox Alimentary food contact coating - other applications:

• Floors in industrial halls, exhibition halls, workshops, etc.

App:

Once the primer has dried, apply Neopox Alimentary with a spatula, roller, brush, or squeegee. Combine components A and B in the appropriate proportions, then mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer, ensuring the product is also incorporated into the walls and bottom of the container. Mix for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.

Comments:

• Contact with food after 7 days of application
• Any gaps in the substrate should be filled with Epoxol Putty.
• Finishing works (expansion joints, wall/floor connections) can be filled with the polyurethane mass Neotex PU Joint
• Low temperature and high air humidity during application extend the drying time

Neopox Alimentary is a two-component paint (the price is for a complete set, i.e., a base coat and a hardener). To make mixing the ingredients easier, we recommend a mixing cup for paints and varnishes (also useful for dividing the paint into smaller portions).
