NEODUR VARNISH polyurethane floor varnish

NEODUR VARNISH polyurethane floor varnish
A two-component, colorless, solvent-based polyurethane varnish for protecting floors. Hardened with aliphatic polyisocyanate, thanks to which it has excellent resistance to UV radiation and can also be used outdoors. It does not turn yellow or lose its shine, even after many years. Neodur Varnish polyurethane floor varnish has high chemical and mechanical resistance (diluted acids, alkalis) and very good adhesion (also to difficult substrates such as polyester). Perfect for protecting all types of floors, both concrete and those already covered with floor paints. It provides the floor with an aesthetic and durable colorless finish, protecting it against scratching and loss of color.
Available finishing options:
- Neodur Varnish - glossy, solvent-based varnish - recommended for outdoor use and e.g. in bathrooms, due to the fact that the glossy version is fully waterproof. Dilute each layer 15-20% with Neotex 1021 thinner.
- Neodur Varnish Semi-matt - a varnish with a semi-matt finish, solvent-based - when used outdoors, the surface should be previously primed with a glossy varnish. Dilute each layer 25-30% with Neotex 1021 thinner.
Neodur Varnish polyurethane floor varnish - surface preparation:
- Concrete and mineral substrates - varnish applied directly to a porous substrate (bricks, concrete, sandstone, etc.) will create a "wet stone" effect (it will darken the substrate, in some places more, in others less, depending on the porosity). Priming the substrate with Neodur Varnish PR will reduce this effect, but will still change its color.
- Flooring resins - when used as a topcoat, can be applied directly, after mattifying the resin
- Polyester - matt before painting
Neodur Varnish polyurethane floor varnish - properties:
- High resistance to friction.
- Long-lasting resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation.
- Resistant to fresh water, sea water, alkalis, chemical cleaning agents.
- Perfect protection of the floor against scratches.
- Delays the yellowing and chalking process of resin floors.
- Impact resistant.
