TELPOX T 300 epoxy industrial enamel

Telpox T 300 is an industrial epoxy enamel characterized by a high gloss. This paint is intended for use as a topcoat in interior, anti-corrosion paint systems. It can also be used on mineral substrates, such as masonry, and some plastics. The dried coating is resistant to moisture, various chemicals (mainly alkaline), crude oil, fuels, and various types of solvents, as well as to temperatures up to 120°C (in a dry environment). Telpox T 300 is available in a glossy version (10 kg pack). The price and package size are for the set (base + hardener). Sample prices and available colors are visible on the website. RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is custom-made for each customer, so we do not ship this product cash on delivery. Use indoors, as epoxies tend to chalk and lose their gloss when exposed to UV radiation. Examples of applications: metal tanks, oil and fuel tanks, pipes, machinery, walls, concrete and steel structures.

Mixing proportions

The paint is a two-component product. The components—base and hardener—should be mixed together in the correct proportions before painting. Hardening ratio: Telpox T 300 base—4 parts by weight: Telhard POX hardener—1 part by weight. The paint-hardener mixture should be used within 8 hours.

Substrate preparation

• For C2 and C3 corrosive environments the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
• For a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
• Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water with ammonia or water with detergent.
• Previously painted surfaces should be removed, cleaned and degreased.
• For cleaning the substrate, we recommend a water solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
• Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .

Painting

Example painting system based on Telpox T 300 topcoat:

• Apply one coat of Telpox P 100 . If necessary, apply a second coat after 24 hours of drying (20°C). Drying can be accelerated by 30-60 minutes at 60°C-100°C.
• Apply 2-3 layers of Telpox T 300 enamel. The second layer can be applied after 24 hours. Drying can be accelerated by 60 minutes at a temperature of 60 - 100°C.
