ALFAKOR-FP 200 heat-resistant primer up to 200°C

Alfakor-FP 200 is a primer based on silicone-modified alkyd resin with increased thermal resistance (up to 200°C). The product contains zinc phosphate and other anti-corrosion pigments and is lead-free. Each color is custom-made to order, so we do not ship this product cash on delivery. Payment can be made via PayU or traditional bank transfer at checkout. Delivery time is approximately 4 business days.

Alfakor-FP 200 - recommended use

• For application on new, sandblasted steel (in exceptional cases, manual or mechanical surface preparation is permitted),
• Suitable for application by brush, roller or spray,
• Provides good anti-corrosion protection for objects in industrial atmosphere conditions,
• It can provide independent anti-corrosion protection for the external surfaces of exhaust ducts, pipelines, filters, scrubbers, heat exchangers and other thermally insulated objects as well as closed profiles,
• Alkythane topcoat (modified to 200°C).

Alfakor FP-200 - surface preparation

• Remove grease, oil and all other surface contamination with alkali solutions or high-pressure steam using appropriate detergents,
• For optimal results, remove rust, rust flakes, mill scale and damaged paint coatings by abrasive blasting to Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1:1988) to a surface roughness of 40÷60μm,
• In exceptional cases, it is also permissible to clean the surface manually or by mechanical treatment to a cleanliness level of St 2/3 (ISO 8501-1:1988),
• The surface must be clean and dry during application.
