Uniepal-Drew Aqua Kolor is a fire-retardant wood varnish in colors. The product is dyed to order and is not shipped cash on delivery. For fire-retardant protection and decorative finishing of wooden surfaces made of domestic wood species and wood-based materials: plywood, chipboard, and OSB boards. Not suitable for exotic wood. For interior and exterior use. The varnish is not suitable for varnishing floors, handrails, or other elements subject to heavy use. For this purpose, use Uniepal-Drew Aqua 1-K . Uniepal-Drew Aqua Kolor impregnation varnish in an amount of at least 200 g/m² ^are classified according to the flammability degree:

Uniepal-Drew Aqua Kolor - substrate preparation:

Fill any surface defects, clean, degrease, and remove dust from the substrate. Uniepal-Drew Aqua Kolor should only be applied to surfaces made of untreated wood with a relative humidity of no more than 20%. Once dried, the varnish creates a transparent coating that changes the color of the wood.

Uniepal-Drew Aqua Kolor - application:

Apply the varnish at a temperature above 10ºC. Before starting the actual work, it is recommended to perform a small-scale test to optimize application parameters (efficiency, flow, drying time, etc.). Apply the varnish two or three times to vertical and horizontal surfaces, at a total volume of at least 200 g/m² ^. The time between subsequent applications depends on the ambient temperature and humidity. At 23ºC (±2) and 50% relative humidity (±5), the second coat can be applied after 6-8 hours, and the third after the previous coats have completely dried. If a high aesthetic finish is important, it is recommended to apply a thin first coat and, after drying, sand with a grit > 240 to remove hairs. Immediately after finishing, thoroughly clean spray tools or brushes with water.

Uniepal-Drew Aqua Color - notes:

• Coverage: max 5 m2 ^/ l when fully painted, depending on the absorbency of the substrate,
• Solubility: soluble in water,
• After drying, it creates a colorful, transparent coating,
• Surfaces coated with other paints may change the fire classification. The technical condition of the coating should be checked at least once every 12 months. Any damage should be repaired.
