Feg-C epoxy primer is an anti-corrosion epoxy paint for thick-layer protection of steel structures, including galvanized ones. It can be applied in layers up to 250 µm thick. Feg-C paint can be used alone (indoors) or in a set with polyvinyl, acrylic-polyvinyl, polyurethane and epoxy surface products. Feg-C paint is certified by the National Institute of Hygiene , according to which it is intended for professional anti-corrosion protection of steel structures, including galvanized ones, in industry (excluding internal surfaces in the food and pharmaceutical industries) and in construction inside buildings.
The surface to be painted should be degreased (e.g. with Emulsol RN-1 ), clean and dry. Raw substrate - unpainted - surface preparation level: at least Sa 21/2, according to PN-ISO 8501-1:1996 (mill scale, rust and foreign contaminants removed). Renovation painting - wash the coating thoroughly with water under pressure, preferably using surfactants. Degree of surface preparation: at least PSa 2 1/2, permissible PSt 2 - according to PN-ISO 8501-2: 1998 (strongly adhering varnish coating not removed, mill scale removed, rust, poorly adhesive varnish coatings and foreign contaminants removed). Paint the cleaned surface within 6 hours to prevent flash rust. Top-Kor rust remover 12 hours before painting. Feg-C is a two-component paint (the price is for the set, i.e. base with hardener).
