LOKOR-2 chlorinated rubber primer

The coating is:

• smooth, matte
• good coverage
• perfectly adhesive
• resistant to temperatures from -20ºC to +60ºC (occasionally up to +80ºC)
• quick drying

Due to the content of active anti-corrosion pigments, the paint coating well protects iron alloys against corrosion by having a passivating effect on the substrate. If there are corrosion spots on the substrate, they can be protected

Lokor-2 chlorinated rubber primer - temporary protection

Lokor-2 paint can be used as temporary protection of structures during transport and assembly, and for ongoing anti-corrosion protection of sandblasted surfaces in field conditions. The LOKOR-2 paint coating protects the steel substrate against the influence of the surrounding atmosphere during:

• up to 3 months when stored outdoors
• up to 6 months when stored under cover
• up to 12 months when stored indoors

Temporarily protected items - depending on storage conditions - should be dusted off and/or washed under water pressure with a solution of a washing and degreasing agent, e.g. Emulsol RN-1.

The next layer of paint can be applied to the paint using the wet-on-wet method, i.e. after it has dried to the first degree. Since the drying of the paint layer depends on external factors (temperature, humidity, air movement) and the thickness of the layer, it is advisable to check the possibility of applying the next layer each time on a small area. For orientation, we state that at a temperature of approximately 20 ^aboutC is a time interval from 0.5 to 4 hours. Otherwise, the next layer should be applied only after the previous layer has seasoned for at least 2 days. Applying subsequent layers at the wrong time may cause the coating to wrinkle. In case of doubt, it is recommended to check the possibility of applying a second layer on a small area.
