TELPOX T 300 epoxy industrial enamel

Telpox T 300 is an industrial epoxy enamel characterized by high gloss. The paint is intended for use as a topcoat in interior, anti-corrosion painting systems. It can also be used on mineral substrates, e.g. walls, and on some plastics. The dried coating is resistant to moisture, various chemicals (mainly alkaline), crude oil, fuels and various types of solvents, and to temperatures up to 120°C (in a dry environment). Telpox T 300 is available in a glossy version (pack of 10 kg). The price and package size refer to the set (base + hardener). Sample prices and colors to choose from are visible on the website. RAL9006 and RAL9007 are metallic colors (light and dark aluminum). The color is each time dyed specifically to the customer's order, therefore we do not send this product on delivery. When summarizing the order, you can pay via PayU or traditional transfer.

Use indoors because epoxies tend to chalk and lose their shine when exposed to UV radiation. Example applications: metal tanks, oil and fuel tanks, pipes, machines, walls, concrete and steel structures.

Mixing proportions

The paint is a two-component product. The ingredients - base and hardener - must be mixed together before painting, maintaining the proportions. Hardening proportions: Telpox T 300 base - 4 parts by weight: Telhard POX hardener - 1 part by weight. The paint and hardener mixture should be used within 8 hours.

Substrate preparation

• For C2 and C3 corrosive environments, the substrate must be blast cleaned to Sa 2 ½.
• For a C1 corrosive environment, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from grease and rust, mechanically cleaned to St 2 - St 3.
• Galvanized surfaces should be cleaned with water with ammonia or water with detergent.
• Previously painted surfaces should be removed, cleaned and degreased.
• For cleaning the substrate, we recommend a water solution of Emulsol RN-1 .
• Neodur Metalforce rust remover 24 hours before painting .

Painting

An example of a painting system based on Telpox T 300 topcoat:

• Apply one layer of Telpox P 100 . If necessary, apply a second layer after 24 hours. drying (20°C). Drying can be accelerated by 30-60 minutes at a temperature of 60°C -100°C.
• Apply 2-3 layers of Telpox T 300 enamel. The second layer can be applied after 24 hours. Drying can be accelerated by 60 minutes at a temperature of 60 - 100°C.
