What are chlorinated rubbers?
Chlorinated rubbers are products intended for both internal and external use, outside chemically aggressive environments. To protect against corrosion, they are suitable for covering steel and cast iron surfaces. Also used for decorative purposes and to protect e.g. wood against aging.
Quick-drying, provide lasting protection against corrosion .

Chlorinated rubber enamels: Resistant to changing weather conditions and high temperature fluctuations. Intended for use with an appropriate primer
Lokmal chlorinated rubber enamel
Chlorinated rubber primers: Lokmal chlorinated rubber topcoat . In combination with chlorinated rubber and phthalate surface products, it provides excellent anti-corrosion protection.

Can chlorinated rubber paint be used with a gun?
keyboard_arrow_down keyboard_arrow_upYes, chlorinated rubber paints can be applied by spraying. Information about the spray setting and the required paint dilution is always included in the product's technical data sheet. When applied by air spray, the dilution is usually from 5 to 10%, and when applied by airless spray from 0 to 3%. The degree of dilution depends, among other things, on the ambient temperature and the product itself.
Can chlorinated rubber paint be used to paint galvanized steel?
keyboard_arrow_down keyboard_arrow_upIt depends on the product, but usually no. We recommend using polyvinyl or polyurethane paints for galvanizing, especially when painting roofs or fences. They will have a much longer durability than chlorinated rubber paints, which, despite their name, are not flexible.
What solvent should I use?
keyboard_arrow_down keyboard_arrow_upIt is best to always use system solvents from the same manufacturer. If for some reason we need to buy a different solvent, it is important that it contains information that it is intended for chlorinated rubber paints, and it is worth testing it before painting. We do not recommend adding general-purpose solvents.
