A-GRAF 2K anti-graffiti varnish

A-Graf 2K is a single-component, water-based polyurethane varnish intended for covering wall surfaces (indoors and outdoors) to protect against graffiti (permanent method) and to create a coating that makes it difficult to stick posters.

It creates a translucent, matte or glossy coating (depending on the version) with high adhesion to porous and non-porous surfaces. It is highly resistant to weather conditions and repeated cleaning with A-Graf Zmywacz . It can be applied to matte, satin, or glossy painted surfaces, facade paints, textured plasters, mineral surfaces, PVC containers, road signs, plastic panels, and other delicate surfaces sensitive to solvents. A wall coated with the product also discourages graffiti artists from painting, as it makes drawing difficult (lines blur, paint runs). An additional benefit of the product is that it extends the durability of plasters by isolating them from the influence of destructive factors such as moisture, moss, air pollution, and atmospheric conditions. Once graffiti is removed from the protective coating, there is no need to renew it. Contaminants can be removed from the same coating multiple times. It is not recommended to use the preparation on clay plasters and lime paints, as well as any dusty substrates.

A-Graf 2K anti-graffiti varnish - use on various surfaces:

The substrate must be durable, dry, and free of grease and dust. New surfaces must be dry and fully cured. Mineral, silicate, and emulsion-painted surfaces should be primed with A-Graf Grunt (one application).

• direct use without primer (subject to preliminary tests): metal surfaces, also painted, insulation and chemically hardened epoxy paints (in this case, adhesion must be checked);
• on siliceous rocks (sandstone, granite), limestone, brick, mineral plasters, concrete, wood (including raw wood) and mineral paints: first apply one or two coats of A-Graf Grunt (depending on the porosity of the substrate) in order to avoid changes in the appearance of the substrate (wet appearance, change in color or gloss, etc.)
• on non-porous materials (ceramic tiles, stoneware): check the adhesion of the preparation before use
• plastic substrate: no priming

A-Graf 2K - substrate preparation:

The substrate must be thoroughly dry before applying the product: wait at least 3 days for water-based paints, 8 to 10 days for solvent-based paints, and 28 days for coatings such as waterproofing (consult the material manufacturer). Do not apply to damp substrates. Do not apply below +8°C (substrate temperature).

A-Graf 2K - application:

After opening the container, stir the contents thoroughly for one minute. Mix the matte version especially thoroughly due to its matting effect. Pour off the appropriate amount of varnish and tightly close the remaining varnish. A tightly closed container can be used for several months after opening.
Apply the product with a brush or roller to a clean, dust-free surface in a thick layer, avoiding any undercoating, streaks, or stains. Two coats provide adequate protection. Apply the second coat approximately 3 to 4 hours after the first coat has cured at a drying temperature of 22°C. However, there are no time limits for applying a second coat or touching up any gaps. Protect the paint from rain during the first 4 hours. Work should be planned in appropriate weather conditions.

A-Graf 2K - graffiti removal:

Apply A-Graf Remover . Leave for 1 minute, brush with a soft brush, and then rinse with water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Repeat the process if necessary. For discoloration, use bleach (test) and then rinse with water. Graffiti can also be removed using cold or warm water under pressure (up to 50°C and 60 bar).

A-Graf 2K - data:

• form: colorless/gray liquid

• application: brush or roller (match the pile length to the type of surface to be painted),
• storage: at a temperature of 5°C to 25°C,
• use at an ambient temperature of 8°C to 25°C and relative air humidity below 75%,
• temperature of the painted surface from 8°C to 25°C (minimum 3°C above the dew point),
• recommended number of layers: 2,
• Apply the next layer approximately 3 to 4 hours after the first one has hardened at a drying temperature of 22 °C.,
• drying at 22°C: after 1 hour dust-dry after 2 hours dry, externally hardened, can be touched without so-called fingerprints; after 3 hours hard
• full protection against graffiti after 8 hours,
• efficiency up to 10 m2 ^/ liter for two layers,
• density at 20°C 0.89 g/cm3
• pH (A+B) = 6 - 8,
• warranty: 12 months from the production date in original, unopened packaging,
• durability of the coating - up to 10 years if not washed off or cleaned 50 times
